Now Q-workshop offers you a chance to create you very own die, suited to your taste, whim and fantasy. It is Q-workshop who introduced the idea of Custom Dice, and currently is the only company to offer dice engraved on all sides, as opposed to mundane "gadget" dice with markings instead of one number. Order a die created just for you! And don’t worry, as it will be as quick and simple as it can be. Everyone can conceive their own dice and have them made by Q-workshop. To create a project you need neither sophisticated and expensive applications nor supernatural talents. You just need to use your imagination. FROM THE IDEA TO THE PROJECT At start we would need a simple graphic project ! A scanned drawing or a simple project in MS Paint is enough – it will help us to know what You want ! - The project should be prepared in black and white colors, preferably on templates provided by us (you’ll find them further down) - After finishing Your project, resize it to actual dice size (eg. With D6 – 16mm) so You will see if the dice is readable and if it looks like you want... We accept the project in any format – You don’t have to use expensive applications for it. You can find more information and hints/tips on our Forum Note: Q-workshop insists that each face of the die contains additional pattern apart from numbers – we are producing only truly unusual dice! You can download our templates which will help you customize the die side by side here: D4 D8 D20 D6 D10 D100 D12 And here you can find cutouts for paper dice. FROM THE PROJECT TO THE READY DICE You would surely like to know more about our Custom Dice before making up your mind. - There are made of special kind of polyester, which is our preciously guarded secret... - - They are carved with high-precision machines, which allow us to achieve amazing level of detail. Here’s an example: die serial number, barely visible with the naked eye: - The glyphs are painted when they are about 1mm deep – this way we make sure that the colours won’t wear off even years of rolling. You are probably wondering “How much is it going to cost me?” The answer is “Not that much!” The price and the amount of time needed to complete your order does not depend on number of complexity of design, the number of dice you want is the only relevant factor. Please contact us for a detailed price list! When sending us the project please specify how many dice you want to be made and in which colours. Having that information and the draft project we will be able to come up with prices and delivery time. Here is example of one of those: The customer ordered 20 black-white D6s, amounting to 140 USD, we finalized his order in 3 weeks. HERE you can find the original project. In case of D10, D12 and D20 prices might be higher due to higher amount of sides. For orders above 100 pcs pricing is established individually (also basing on a project). Production cost in case of wholesale orders (1000 and more pcs.) is around 1,5-3 USD. In such cases we will prepare a 3D model of the dice before beginning the productions.
