"Named after the owner's favorite RPG character-name (Quentin), Q-workshop.com was set up as a commercial enterprise in 2001, in Poznan, in western Poland. Patryk Strzelewicz is the owner of Q-Workshop.
Before that year, the people who now run Q-Workshop were simply a group of enthusiastic gamers, busy constructing battlefields and accessories for their games. One day, when they had finished one of their most ambitious terrains, and were getting ready to play a game, they came to the conclusion that "ordinary" dice were not quite appropriate rolling next to their awesomely detailed gaming set-ups! Then they had an excellent idea: to design and create their own dice!
It wasn't long after, when they produced their first dice: a brown runic set. The group perceived a demand for such products on the Polish market, and was prompted to start selling their dice, beginning with online auctions and later on their own website. The next stage in the history of the Q-workshop.com was brought about when they started a Polish-language internet-forum. From this they have gained many ideas for new dice & accessory designs. In the space of 2 months they designed 4 completely new products which had been proposed by forum users.
Q-Workshop philosophy says that there are no such things as mere ideas... only projects. They feel that anything is possible, and that the only thing which sometimes holds them back are copyright laws, which they respect.
Their main goal is to surprise, amaze and please the gamers who use their beautifully crafted dice. They have over 1300 dice and accessory products available now, and are constantly working on new projects, and exploring new materials, paints and patterns."

Currently Q-workshop is the biggest producer of unusual dice in the world. Despite that the company is still located in Poland, it has a distribution network stretching all over the European Union and to the United States. Unusual decorative dice have become an invaluable companion of gamers all over the world - turning many of them into regular collectors and fans.
For three years Q-workshop has been operating in Germany, presenting its products during SPIEL - the largest games and toys convention in Europe, taking place in Essen (Germany).
Our German Department can provide all the details concerning our activity in German-speaking countries - including trading conditions with shops and distributors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. For further information please contact verkauf@Q-workshop.com or edyta.gortat@Q-workshop.com .
Beginning with January 2005 Q-workshop has opened its International Department - aimed for English-speaking customers from USA, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, South Africa and all other countries (mainly France, Italy, Spain and Sweden). Q-workshop International Department has attracted a lot of regular customers and became known on international RPG market.
